The Boys & Girls Clubs of Elko was founded in 1997 by a group of concerned individuals in response to the growing needs of our community. They gathered money and other resources from friends and businesses; developed a signature event; and gave their time, talent, and financial resources. In December 2001, the vision became a mission as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elko opened its doors and heart to our children at Southside Elementary School. Today, each board member is expected to give time, talent, and treasure to maintain and support the program and activities of the club. It is for the kids!!!
