The Club's mission is "To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens." We achieve our mission through a youth development strategy that underlies all Boys & Girls Club programs. Our nationally-proven and field-tested programs foster a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness, and influence that builds self-confidence and self-esteem in each youth member. Since its establishment, the Club has been enriching the lives of girls and boys that other youth agencies have had difficulty in reaching. We are dedicated to ensuring that the youth of our community have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and enable them to become productive and caring citizens.

Today, 2,034 girls and boys are taking advantage of the programs, activities, and services provided by Boys & Girls Club of Elko. Club members benefit from trained, caring professional staff and volunteers who help young people take control of their lives, develop viable plans for productive futures, learn how to achieve their goals, and become contributing members of the Elko community.
